KiCad symbols and third-party libraries
The bundled starter symbols are sourced from the KiCad community's KiCad symbol libraries. Those libraries are licensed under Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 with the KiCad exception. The full license and exception are available on KiCad's library license page.
Imported libraries retain their original licenses. Importing a library into EleRiz does not change its license. Source, license information when supplied, and content hashes are retained with the library records. Provenance for the bundled starter symbols is recorded in django/kicad/fixtures/provenance.json.
